I apologise (again) for neglecting the blog. Things have been a bit here there and everywhere for the past week or so.
Last weekend I went on a little jolly for 5 days around the country for various things. The first being a job interview at a Field Studies Council centre near Port Talbot in South Wales. It was quite a nice place but I unfortunately didn't get the job so not really wanting to dwell on it.
I then went from there to Walsall, just north of Birmingham. This was for a. big family get together weekend. It was absolutely wonderful! Friday night was spent Having a curry and then some of us went on to an Irish Bar around the corner. It was a very drunken affair but and my friend left without me so I was banging on the door at 3am to be let in the house!
Saturday was spent getting the train to Birmingham and then going on a canal boat trip. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we had a fantastic time. We then went to a Robbie Williams tribute act at the pub. To be honest drift was shit, but the food was good and we made the best of the situation!
The remaining family troops then went for a carvery on the Sunday before saying our goodbyes for probably another year. The next 'cousins weekend' as we call them has been delegated to the Elder Basons and I to organise here in Burton for my 21st birthday next year. I'm actually beyond excited!
On the Monday I then travelled down to Hampshire for another job interview. to be quite honest I absolutely loved it but won't here anything until the end of this week.
Tuesday and Wednesday were itching special, although we did have a really good BBQ in the evening on the Wednesday with the Engineering Boys.
Yesterday was spent panic buying petrol, except I had a reason to panic. My car was on the red and I was meant to be driving home for Easter... All the other dicks had bought all the petrol for quite some distance, eventually I found out that the Sainsburys in Telford that I didn't even know existed until yesterday had got a delivery that afternoon and I got fuel, packed and got back to the home town at about 9 last night.
I don't usually say this but it is nice to be back this time :) I spent the first full day back with the Boyf and the Elder Basons going to Ikea (rock and roll) which caused me to wish I had my very own house (with the Boyf of course) to decorate and furnish. Some day... We then went home via Lichfield to visit a hi-fi shop and buy invitations for my birthday dinner party.
I'm now going to attempt to watch the first episode of Twenty Twelve on the shockingly slow internet with Mummy Bason.
Take care, one and all!

I'm still alive!
I apologise (again) about the lack of blogging, but I have been away since Thursday without my laptop. As of today though, I am an iPhone owner and I now have a Blogger app for blogging on the go!
The antics of the past 5 days though are far too much to type on an iPhone though so I will fill you all in tomorrow
Take care out there

Excuse my absence
Due to a fun packed weekend, not much blogging has taken place.
Friday and Saturday were spent with the Best friend in Chester. We had an absolutely wonderful time and spend Friday day time at the Zoo. The place is HUGE! and we had to miss out a few enclosures to make sure that we got to see everything we wanted to. This included seeing the Okapi, which I have always wanted to see and walking through the Fruit Bat forest, which is a big building (quite dark) in which around 500 bats are flying as you walk through, it's a wonderful experience. We also had a lovely lunch in the restaurant there and an ice cream as well as doing other standard zoo things such as going on the monorail and visiting the gift shop. The Best friend and I are now proud owners of cuddly giraffe (me) and red panda (her) key rings and I also bought a cuddly chimp, as we both decided that it reminded us of The boyf. A picture message was sent to him and he likes his present.
We then had a big meal with the rest of her flatmates, which was really nice and went to the pub later that evening with all but one of them. It was a pretty full flat this weekend as one of the other girls had her sister over to stay with her too.
We then watched a film, a nice romantic comedy kinda film we thought we'd enjoy. To put it bluntly, it was rubbish, and just full of a huge number of cliches! Bit disappointing but it was something to do.
Saturday was spent having a good lie in! (Totally deserved after the amount of walking that we did at the zoo...). Then we wandered over to the butchers round the corner (I was a massive fan of this) to buy venison sausages and other meats to take away. The venison sausages were then consumed in sausage butties for breakfast, with the remaining being saved for a pasta bake to have that evening. Next on the agenda was shopping in Chester, something that I particularly love. It's a wonderful city with some of my favourite more high end shops that you don't get in the likes of Shrewsbury and Telford. This included a Crabtree and Evelyn, Jack Wills, Joules, Whites of London etc. It was lovely to go and look around them all, not so lovely is the fact that I'm a poor student. All I bought was a bottle of wine from M&S and a card and wrapping paper for Mothers' Day. The rest of the time was spent relaxing and eating before I came back home. It was lovely to see the Best friend again, and to see Chester.
Sunday was spent at Grandma's, a place that I'm particularly fond of. The houses (the Uncle and Aunt also have a house on the same plot of land) are both beautiful and the setting is very desirable). The Elder Bason's came to join us, to celebrate mothers day and all the giving of presents etc was done. Before arriving I went to the local garden centre to go and get both Mother Bason and Grandma a pot plant and pot each, it was meant to be a little extra to go with their gifts. Instead, I bought some very lovely plants and pots (one in pink, one in purple) and then decided to get them gift wrapped, so both presents turned out to be more expensive than the original presents! It was worth it though, they both loved them.
Today was spent being downright lazy, the first lecture was cancelled, so I never did bother with the second (I don't like Mondays-itis), I finally dragged myself out of bed well into the afternoon, before going to physio, which was quite frankly a waste of time. This evening I went to the hospital, where I had major issues with parking and had to borrow 50p from some nice man, then I couldn't find the way to the ward, and after getting there and waiting for what seemed like a life time, I was called in for my scan.
I was dubious from the start, she was very curt, and didn't ask the details of why I was there etc, what had been all the medical reasons that I needed a scan blah blah, which part of me just thought it was because she'd have read my motes, the other part of me wasn't so sure. Sure enough the scan was done with no hassle, so at the end I was told I was free to go and that they were not allowed to discuss the results of a scan with the patient and that I had to book an appointment with my doctor. At that point I knew that the NHS was too good to be true again and that as usual they couldn't give a monkeys about the fact I finally thought I was going to find out what was wrong. I felt like screaming 'ARE YOU BLEEDING SERIOUS' at her (she hadn't exactly been friendly) but I refrained. I have to say I am truly disappointed. It's been over a month now and for one reason or another I still don't know what's wrong with me. I don't care if they take ages to treat me, I just want to know what's wrong with me in the first place.
Seriously considering going private, but for now, I will go and buy chocolate full of the fat that I'm meant to be avoiding for the gall stones that they think I have but won't tell me even though they had the results on a screen right in front of them.
I'm not bitter at all... for now folks, I bid you farewell

Ice Skating and such like
Apologies for no blog yesterday. It can't have been that interesting though, I can't remember what happened.
I went to a couple of lectures and fixed a lot of Sealed Knot kit as far as I know, oh and rallied round to get support for my friends band The Vibe. They were in a competition on Facebook to try and get votes, to win a slot on the bill at a local festival. They've done really well and got well over 2000 votes, putting them in second place, which did indeed get them the spot! They happen to be playing a gig at home on my birthday, so looking forward to that.
In other news, the camera charger arrived yesterday, a day earlier than expected and very impressive since it came by Royal mail but I only ordered it about 7pm the night before...
I don't think anything else of particular interest happened. Can't say today was much better during the day either, I didn't do a great deal apart from a couple of lectures. I have found out today that I have another job interview. This time for the Field Studies Council down in South Wales, I'm really looking forward to going to that and seeing what it's like, I've not been to South Wales for years!
This afternoon/ evening we had an Equestrian Social, to which only 6 people turned up, there was meant to be 20, but that's a standard thing to happen at an Equestrian Social. The 6 of us had a wonderful time though, we went ice skating in Telford! Something I haven't done for at least 3 years. Irish and Shropshire members were very good, and the rest of us were pretty alright. Only Irish member and I fell over, which was good, and we do have a few photos on the new camera, a particularly good one of Suffolk member with her arms flailing as she nearly went over.
Due to the small numbers, we decided that a MacDonalds was in order. Today I've found out that if you order a meal deal thing there, you can get a free McFlurry if you have a student card, which is pretty cool! We all ordered free McFlurries, more for the novelty I think. Suffolk member had great fun trying to play on the kids interactive floor that they've just installed in this particular branch, unfortunately it switched off part way through.
Evening has been spent dossing around on here and creating a 'Facebook Event' for my birthday because I was too lazy to text everyone with the details. Also spent on Skype talking to the Best friend, which was lovely, looking forward to seeing her at the weekend!
Going to spend the rest of the evening continuing with the ongoing task of sorting out the music on my computer... It's a wonderful task!
Enjoy your evening.

Station Runs
Today was used mainly to ferry people to various stations, and to recover from the weekend's antics. Feeling a lot better than I was yesterday, which probably isn't hard, but it was welcome.
Lectures didn't happen though, partly because The boyf was taken back to Stafford Station to go home, we have had a lovely weekend, but seeing him again a week on Friday, so it's not too bad.
On the way back I decided to do a spot of shopping. I now have all the things I needed from boots, including some new split end remedy stuff. Seem to be getting split ends within about 2 weeks of having my hair cut, which I'm sure isn't good, so we're going to give this stuff a go and see if there's any improvement.
Also went and got a new spotty notepad dedicated to all my Sealed Knot stuff, including File Leader-y stuff, so hopefully I can keep on top of all that. After this weekend I am definitely in the mood for the '12 season, but just need to find the money, that might be the issue...
Also popped to Waitrose for a Mother's Day card (they didn't have wrapping paper though...) and some nice baguettes so that I can munch the pate that I got to take back from the banquet (this is not all good, my car now STINKS of pate...) but it is lovely on these baguettes, so I mustn't grumble.
This afternoon I didn't do a great deal apart from sort out Sealed Knot and Equestrian Club stuff out, I did have a look into what was happening with various placement job applications, and have been offered an interview for a job I am very keen on in Hampshire, which I am looking forward to. I've also found an external placement (not recognised by Harper yet, but it's being advertised as a proper placement so it should all be fine) down in Norfolk, so I'm going to apply for that too and see what comes of it.
Picked my friend Emma up from the station at Telford this afternoon, and she remembered to bring her old compact camera up, which she's sold to me on the cheap as my compact has broken. She doesn't have the charger for it though, but I've got a cheap one off ebay which should arrive Wednesday or Thursday, in time for me to take said camera to Chester Zoo at the weekend!
Managed to splash a lot of hot oil over my hand tonight when I was frying meatballs today, which has resulted in 3 nice blisters on my fingers and back of my hand! Been sitting around with my hand in glasses of cold water this evening whilst catching up with the day 1 coverage of Crufts.
Need to wash my stuff up from dinner and head to bed now, to hopefully get a better nights sleep than I have the past 4 nights!
Over and out.

An Awesome Weekend.
Sorry for the lack of blogging. It's been a mad weekend and the few days previous to it. The boyf arrived on Thursday evening, and then it was a mad rush to get dinner cooked (seafood risotto, it was lovely, but I had no peas) before an Equestrian Club meeting.Took him along with me and another one of the Execs bought her boyf too, this resulted in them sitting together in the corner and coming up with a new sport. They decided to create Horse Rugby, sponsored by Pedigree Dog Food and No More Nails glue. We have since decided that they are horrible boys.
Friday was spent not doing a great deal in the morning, just relaxing and stuff, before going to the cinema in the afternoon. Having watched 5 trailers the previous night, The boyf decided that he wanted to watch The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I was more than happy to go and see it again, it was really good both times! The boyf really enjoyed it too and so it was a good afternoon all round. Cooked dinner again that evening for The boyf and Leicestershire Housemate, which tasted wonderful, but managed to set the fire alarm off multiple times. All fun at the house on Broomfield Road.
This weekend was spent with the regiment. This is a regiment in an organisation called The Sealed Knot, which re-enact the English Civil War. This in the past has been summed up by a friend of mine as 'Dressing up and firing guns in the rain'. It was something I was born into, the Elder Basons have been members since the 80s, but we had to give it up for a few years, due to money, time etc. Last year we went back, dragging The boyf with us, he was very nervous at first but now he loves it! Last night was our annual banquet down near Weston-Super-Mare. Decided to make more of a time of it, so spent the day time at the sea front in Weston with a friend. It was lovely and the weather wasn't too shabby. We then spent hours making ourselves look beautiful in time for the evening's party.
I had a lovely new russett red skirt to wear for the occasion, and was looking forward to it, although driving to the venue in kit was an interesting experience. Everything was wonderful, the food was divine and drink was flowing. Various awards and medals were given out to members of the regiment and all were thoroughly deserved. As I said, the drink was flowing, which for some of us (namely, me, and the friend we'd spent the day with) had too much, far too much. Including drinking whiskey straight from the bottle in the car park. I don't remember much (luckily) but I did end the night toilet hugging and got put to bed. My head this morning felt like I'd been hit with a sledge hammer. It was a wonderful night though and I'm very very glad we made the effort to trek down for it.
It has certainly made me really excited about the rest of the up-coming season, which will be kicking off with an event at Basing House in Hampshire during the Easter weekend. I'm just hoping that I can find the money from somewhere to afford to go. Hopefully we'll be able to, it should be a rather good weekend.
Looking forward to another recovery day tomorrow, where I can get my life sorted out!
Take care!

Mid week lull.
Seems I have missed a day with this, oops! Tuesday was, well, Tuesday. Nothing greatly exciting happened. Had good lectures though, Field Sports (although this was about Access and Rights of Way again, seem to be doing about that in a lot of modules currently!) and Landscape Development and Assessment. That's a really interesting module, as it's very historically based and History is something that I love. This week was all about the Garden, and by Garden we're talking about those related to Stately homes. Not just your average garden. It was remarkably interesting and lots of pretty photos of very posh houses!
Field Sports is always interesting, it's a very controversial subject, and most people in the lecture sit on the same side of the fence, so trying to discuss it in a balanced way (lots of discussion in this module) is always interesting.
Yesterday evening just consisted of cooking and then an Equestrian Club meeting. Was alright, nothing special. But in a week and a day, I will have officially handed over my position of secretary! YAAAAAAAAAY, never, ever again would I choose to do it all over again, it's just been hellish. Looking forward to seeing who our new Execs will be though.
Today has been a bit of a nothing day, it's that mid week lull, looking forward to the weekend, but it's still too far away. Did some shopping this afternoon and then rang the boyf to inform him of the weekends meals and got told that I couldn't be a student if I was cooking seafood risotto tomorrow and having chicken and onion couscous for lunch. That's one thing about Harper studetns, we do tend to eat well, many people are regularly eating good quality meat and game, in that respect being here is lovely.
Getting a hair cut this afternoon, but not sure how I want it doing. I do like having a fringe (currently, sweeping sideways), but it curls in a weird way, so doesn't really look like what it should do. Having no fringe just makes me look silly and I'm scared about how I might look with a full fringe, I really really don't know! I think I'm just going to see what the hairdresser says.
Trying a different salon this time, recommended to me by Yorkshire and Irish Housemates, they both go there and say it's wonderful, and it seems a bit better than the one that Leicestershire Housemate and I have been going to.
No plans for this evening, probably just whiling the hours away on Facebook and Twitter. Now the role in the Club is coming to an end, and the assignments have been done, I do feel like I'm at a bit of a loss. The only thing I really need to do tonight is change my bed, so it's got clean sheets for when the boyf descends tomorrow night. Have to say that I'm looking forward to that, and our weekend at the regimental banquet.
For now folks, enjoy the day

Another day, another Planning lecture..
I really don't like Mondays this year, my lectures are truly rubbish! I had Contemporary Countryside and Environmental Issues last year, which was interesting, informative and worth getting up at 9am on a Monday for. Now, I have Research Methods, which, yes will be important for fourth year etc, I know, but currently, it feels like I'm back at school doing Maths and English. In all honesty, if I wanted to still be doing Maths and English, I'd have studied those at Uni, but I didn't, so I haven't!
That is promptly followed by Planning, Law and Practise. Which I chose to do, granted, but I really wish I hadn't. It really is just boring and I can't say that EPJ is the most inspiring lecturer either. She knows her stuff but talks in monotone and doesn't make the subject in any way engaging. Today it was Minerals and Waste, I really don't have that much interest in either... Oh well, Tuesdays are good days, I always look forward to them more due to Mondays.
Another gripe I have today is with the NHS. I have a various array of health problems, and as the boyf says, I used my NHS quota up years ago, but never mind. Last month I had two fun-filled Friday nights in A&E (no, I hadn't been drinking...) with horrific stomach and back pain, almost like a elastic band had been placed around me, just below my ribs. The second time I went, I had extra tests done, and they think I have gall stones. Not ideal, but no choice in the matter, as advised by the lovely doctor at Leicester Infirmary to visit my doctor the following Monday so that I could get a referral for an Ultrasound scan back here in Shropshire.
I got an appointment that afternoon, and was referred to the cottage hospital here in Newport, for the following Monday. Ideal. Went dutifully along to the appointment, only to be told I was referred to the wrong place and actually needed to be referred to Telford. Went back to the doctors and they did so.
I got a letter last week, asking me to ring them on a mobile number (odd...) at any time Monday to Friday... between 8:00am and 12:00pm. Convenient, for them. So, I've tried and tried to ring, but no one answers this bloody phone. EVER. But if I don't book my appointment within 14 days I will be struck off the list, and will need to be re-referred. Thanks a bloody lot NHS, y'know the service that's meant to care for us!
Oh well, maybe tomorrow by some miracle they will answer me and finally give me appointment (which will probably be some time in July). Now I need to have some lunch before leading a fun student life afternoon of washing and ironing...
Ta-ra. Enjoy your day.

Dreary Sunday Afternoon.
This house is SO bloody cold! It's not been the best of winters, because we've tried to keep the heating off etc, so the warmer temperatures of the past couple of weeks have been very welcome, but the temperatures have dropped again today, and since we're both already wearing 3 layers and still very chilly, Leicestershire Housemate and I have decided to stick the heating on.
Unfortunately this house doesn't have a fireplace on, so unless we faff around switching radiators on and off, we can't just warm certain rooms.
Currently sat in the living room watching the re-scheduled Ireland vs France rugby game, the living room heats up quickest, so might be warm soon!
The whole getting cold thing started this morning when I went riding and it was cold, windy and raining. The lesson was really good though. I got to ride my favourite pony Casper and there was only 3 of us so we got a lot done.
This lesson was at 9:30am after, all of us had been to see The Wurzels in the bar last night. They were absolutely awesome!! They are such a party and comments such as 'The original Boy Band' and 'Somerset's answer to JLS' had the whole place roaring. Much singing about farming, combine harvesters, cider and blackbirds was had by all, and of course 'I've Got a Brand New Combine Harvester' blew the roof off, but one thing that we loved both this year and last was there cover of the Kaiser Chief's 'Ruby'. Thanks to them 'Ruby, Ruby, Ruby Ruby, Oo-argh, Oo-argh,Oo-argh' (important that pronunciation is correct that is a famer's Oo-argh, not a pirates) has been stuck in my head ever since, but it's worth it! The Engineer boys had a wonderful time, and by the end of it they were ALL dancing, they rarely even go to the bar, let alone DANCING!
They even stayed for well over to dance to mordern dance music too! I wondered if they or I were ill. A good night was had by all which is the important thing, but I'm definitely rather tired now.
Over and out.

Assignments are DONE!
For some reason, blogging didn't happen yesterday. I don't really have an excuse, but it was a really boring day ,so maybe that's why. I went to the library at 10:30am and left at 18:45pm. It was productive though. I completed one assignment (start to finish) and got well under way with another. The evening was spent just watching the tele and cleaning Tinker out, he's a Chinese dwarf hamster, so so cute!
Today wasn't anything particularly exciting. I actually went for a run! I never run... but decided that weight loss etc really needs to be thought about, so I went for a run, when I say run, I do mean a combination of running, jogging and walking (and panting), but the idea was there, surely it's trying that counts?!
The new Student Ambassador woman at Harper has insisted that everyone had to re-do their training with her, so that's how I spent my morning, followed by another few hour stint in the library. Due to this though, all second year assignments are complete! I feel free etc etc, it's wonderful.
Only at Harper would this occur, I am rewarding myself by going to see the Wurzels tonight at the bar, yes, the actual Wurzels. I will spend my night signing about brand new combine harvesters, blackbirds and cider. The Engineer boys are even coming out for this occasion, which they never do!
Tomorrow will be spent riding, watching rugby and getting on top of household chores, and you know what, I'm looking forward to it! Potentially going to Lilleshall monument with the Engineer boys in the afternoon, but no plans have been made, but then they never tend to be.
Weather has been colder and wetter today, but sun is shining now. Looking forward to the rest of the weekend, but hoping we get weather like this next Saturday, as there is potential beach visiting in the pipeline.
Ta-ra a bit :)

A Sunny Thursday
Today has been another wonderful day, but my mood does tend to pick up at the same points as the weather, which may be why.
Lectures were fairly interesting, lunch with the Engineer boys was also good, until the point one of them sat on my car, so I couldn't fetch Leicestershire Housemate in time for our afternoon lecture, he eventually moved and we made it to lecture just in time, but this involved me driving from home to campus in 3 minutes, which is quite impressive!
After that, we went and bought ice creams and sat on the bonnet of my car enjoying them in the sunshine.
This evening was spent eating out again! I really will be bankrupt soon, but it will be my own fault. It was spent with Leicestershire Housemate, having a meal at Frankie and Bennys before going to the cinema to see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Meal was good, but service was slower than usual, but we had time to kill. For once I didn't have the Chicken Carbonara, which really does make a change, I had a Cajun Chicken pasta bake instead, and very nice it was too, followed by a lovely cinnamon waffle and ice cream. If the illness doesn't flare up tonight because of all that fat, I will be really surprised (hoping not though)!
The film was truly excellent, totally recommended. It had plenty of very funny moments, some magical one liners from Dame Maggie Smith, which were great. It also had a really poignant story line too, and other great actors such as Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Deve Patel etc. There were some sad moments, but the overall vibe of the film is very feel-good. Go and see it, you won't regret it. Not spoiling the plot line or anything, but make sure you look out for the elephant. On the way home I complained that there weren't any, only to be told there was, and I must have missed it.
Afterwards we had a parking ticket ordeal. I knew I'd put it away, as soon as I got out the car, to keep it 'safe'. Famous last words... searched purse, wasn't in there, searched each section of bag, promptly spilling the remaining chocolate buttons all over the middle section of the bag, couldn't find it. It was in the little front pocket. With the car keys. Ironic. Put the ticket in machine and found that it was free because it was the evening, and then drove round to the barrier, which was open all along! Typical.
Anyway, I think sleep is calling. Sleep well all :)

What a wonderful way to spend a Wednesday.
I have had one of the loveliest days today, like you would not believe. It's been wonderful just to be by myself for most of it, do what I wanted and enjoy not worrying about Uni, work, the bloody Equestrian Club etc.
I did have a 2 hour lecture this morning, but even that was great, because it was all my A-level Biology again with a bit of Geography thrown in, which I really enjoyed looking over again. I genuinely find the Carbon Cycle really interesting and the guy was a guest lecturer, so getting a different view on things was really good.
After this, I went home, submitted the last thing for the assignment that's in today, made lunch and then made my way to Shrewsbury. For those who know little about Shrewsbury, it is surrounded on most parts by the River Severn and has and English and Welsh bridge, I didn't need to cross the Welsh bridge at any point today, but true to form, my navigation round towns failed me and we crossed the Welsh bridge anyway. Eventually I crossed the English bridge instead and got to the car park I was trying to find. The car park was only £2.70 for the whole day, so I knew it was going to be a good day.
I have been shopping, for ornaments in a lovely shop called Hunters which is unfortunately closing down soon. Therefore bought a couple of cottages for mum and a Border Fine Arts Simmental calves model for me, I've always wanted something from Border Fine Arts, so this seemed an opportunity.
Next on the agenda was a visit to the castle and Shropshire Regimental Museum. It was wonderful!! I ate my lunch in the castle grounds, with the sun shining, bees buzzing as if it were late spring etc, bliss!! The museum is very well done, and very informative. I spent a good 2 hours there, and it's not the biggest museum in the world. The other bonus was the fact it's free for students.
I then carried on the cultural day with a visit to the other museum in Shrewsbury, particularly enjoying the section about Darwin, who was born in the town. Planning to take the boyf there when he visits in a couple of weeks, but he finds Taxidermy creepy, and there's a lot of it, so we might have to give the Darwin section a miss!
After a wander round the town (again) I went to a lovely pub, that the Elder Basons and I found last year for some dinner, it was very nice, lovely service and not too busy. Felt a bit weird being there on my own, it's not something I do regularly, but it was enjoyable in my own company.
The pee-est-der-resistance (I don't speak French very well...) was the evening's plans. I met back up with the lady that I met on Saturday for the Where The Working Boats Went production. This evening we went to the beautiful Lion Hotel in Shrewsbury (I felt rather under-dressed, it was a bit swanky) to see a folk/bluegrass duo called The Carrivick Sisters. They had a wonderful support act, but these sisters are just phenomenal. They're probably in their early 20s, and both sing beautifully and play a range of string instruments. They're from Salcombe in South Devon, which is one of my favourite ever places. I wish I was them.
Currently listening to the album of there's that I bought, which has a song all about a day being a perfect day, wearing pretty flowery dresses and having a picnic etc, that I particularly liked, and will be perfect for the playlist I'm making for me and Little One (my 16yr old friend from back home) for when we go on our planned picnic to Kedleston Hall when I'm back home for Easter. I have to say I am very much looking forward to it, plan to make cakes for the occasion and wear a pretty dress if the weather is suitable! The song is perfect! Along with the rest of the album, they are soooo talented.
Anyway, I guess that this wonderful day of culture and arts must come to an end (officially that was 27 minutes ago...) and tomorrow will be back to normality, lectures, work etc.
Enjoy your day :)
