Dreary Sunday Afternoon.

This house is SO bloody cold! It's not been the best of winters, because we've tried to keep the heating off etc, so the warmer temperatures of the past couple of weeks have been very welcome, but the temperatures have dropped again today, and since we're both already wearing 3 layers and still very chilly, Leicestershire Housemate and I have decided to stick the heating on.

Unfortunately this house doesn't have a fireplace on, so unless we faff around switching radiators on and off, we can't just warm certain rooms.

Currently sat in the living room watching the re-scheduled Ireland vs France rugby game, the living room heats up quickest, so might be warm soon!

The whole getting cold thing started this morning when I went riding and it was cold, windy and raining. The lesson was really good though. I got to ride my favourite pony Casper and there was only 3 of us so we got a lot done.

This lesson was at 9:30am after, all of us had been to see The Wurzels in the bar last night. They were absolutely awesome!! They are such a party and comments such as 'The original Boy Band' and 'Somerset's answer to JLS' had the whole place roaring. Much singing about farming, combine harvesters, cider and blackbirds was had by all, and of course 'I've Got a Brand New Combine Harvester' blew the roof off, but one thing that we loved both this year and last was there cover of the Kaiser Chief's 'Ruby'. Thanks to them 'Ruby, Ruby, Ruby Ruby, Oo-argh, Oo-argh,Oo-argh' (important that pronunciation is correct that is a famer's Oo-argh, not a pirates) has been stuck in my head ever since, but it's worth it! The Engineer boys had a wonderful time, and by the end of it they were ALL dancing, they rarely even go to the bar, let alone DANCING!

They even stayed for well over to dance to mordern dance music too! I wondered if they or I were ill. A good night was had by all which is the important thing, but I'm definitely rather tired now.

Over and out.
