Station Runs

Today was used mainly to ferry people to various stations, and to recover from the weekend's antics. Feeling a lot better than I was yesterday, which probably isn't hard, but it was welcome.

Lectures didn't happen though, partly because The boyf was taken back to Stafford Station to go home, we have had a lovely weekend, but seeing him again a week on Friday, so it's not too bad.

On the way back I decided to do a spot of shopping. I now have all the things I needed from boots, including some new split end remedy stuff. Seem to be getting split ends within about 2 weeks of having my hair cut, which I'm sure isn't good, so we're going to give this stuff a go and see if there's any improvement.

Also went and got a new spotty notepad dedicated to all my Sealed Knot stuff, including File Leader-y stuff, so hopefully I can keep on top of all that. After this weekend I am definitely in the mood for the '12 season, but just need to find the money, that might be the issue...

Also popped to Waitrose for a Mother's Day card (they didn't have wrapping paper though...) and some nice baguettes so that I can munch the pate that I got to take back from the banquet (this is not all good, my car now STINKS of pate...) but it is lovely on these baguettes, so I mustn't grumble.

This afternoon I didn't do a great deal apart from sort out Sealed Knot and Equestrian Club stuff out, I did have a look into what was happening with various placement job applications, and have been offered an interview for a job I am very keen on in Hampshire, which I am looking forward to. I've also found an external placement (not recognised by Harper yet, but it's being advertised as a proper placement so it should all be fine) down in Norfolk, so I'm going to apply for that too and see what comes of it.

Picked my friend Emma up from the station at Telford this afternoon, and she remembered to bring her old compact camera up, which she's sold to me on the cheap as my compact has broken. She doesn't have the charger for it though, but I've got a cheap one off ebay which should arrive Wednesday or Thursday, in time for me to take said camera to Chester Zoo at the weekend!

Managed to splash a lot of hot oil over my hand tonight when I was frying meatballs today, which has resulted in 3 nice blisters on my fingers and back of my hand! Been sitting around with my hand in glasses of cold water this evening whilst catching up with the day 1 coverage of Crufts.

Need to wash my stuff up from dinner and head to bed now, to hopefully get a better nights sleep than I have the past 4 nights!

Over and out.
