Field Sports is always interesting, it's a very controversial subject, and most people in the lecture sit on the same side of the fence, so trying to discuss it in a balanced way (lots of discussion in this module) is always interesting.
Yesterday evening just consisted of cooking and then an Equestrian Club meeting. Was alright, nothing special. But in a week and a day, I will have officially handed over my position of secretary! YAAAAAAAAAY, never, ever again would I choose to do it all over again, it's just been hellish. Looking forward to seeing who our new Execs will be though.
Today has been a bit of a nothing day, it's that mid week lull, looking forward to the weekend, but it's still too far away. Did some shopping this afternoon and then rang the boyf to inform him of the weekends meals and got told that I couldn't be a student if I was cooking seafood risotto tomorrow and having chicken and onion couscous for lunch. That's one thing about Harper studetns, we do tend to eat well, many people are regularly eating good quality meat and game, in that respect being here is lovely.
Getting a hair cut this afternoon, but not sure how I want it doing. I do like having a fringe (currently, sweeping sideways), but it curls in a weird way, so doesn't really look like what it should do. Having no fringe just makes me look silly and I'm scared about how I might look with a full fringe, I really really don't know! I think I'm just going to see what the hairdresser says.
Trying a different salon this time, recommended to me by Yorkshire and Irish Housemates, they both go there and say it's wonderful, and it seems a bit better than the one that Leicestershire Housemate and I have been going to.
No plans for this evening, probably just whiling the hours away on Facebook and Twitter. Now the role in the Club is coming to an end, and the assignments have been done, I do feel like I'm at a bit of a loss. The only thing I really need to do tonight is change my bed, so it's got clean sheets for when the boyf descends tomorrow night. Have to say that I'm looking forward to that, and our weekend at the regimental banquet.
For now folks, enjoy the day
